JA Inspire is Junior Achievement's capstone career development program for 7th-12th grade students.

Using virtual technology, JA Inspire features local businesses while providing downloadable career information, career videos, and on demand webinars to inspire career-readiness and connect students with local opportunities.

Lobby

Students enter through the virtual lobby where they move amongst avatars to make their way to:

  • Information Center: Filled with information about the fair.

  • Company banners: Click on the banner to go directly to the company's career booth.

  • Auditorium: Watch webinars on career topics.

  • Exhibit Hall: Find company booths within the hall.

  • Activity Lab: Additional career-readiness resources.

Booths

Students visit booths that have videos, pamphlets, flyers, pictures, and career stories. Videos about "A day in the life of an employee"; "What I wanted to do in 8th grade and how I got where I am now"; resume tips; education needed for jobs at the company.

Students are able to add provided information to their "backpacks” and revisit it after they leave the fair. Students are able to reenter the fair after their visit and can share the information with other students, teachers, and adults at home.

Auditorium

Students can stop in the auditorium throughout the day to watch webinars produced by exhibitor companies. Topics include career readiness, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, the trades, and motivation.
