ABC Keystone Apprenticeship Programs A combination of on-the-job training (OJT) and related classroom instruction under the supervision of a journey-level craft person or trade professional in which workers learn the practical and theoretical aspects of a highly skilled occupation. The York Electrical Institute mission is to provide training opportunities for electricians in York and Adams County that will ensure IBEW local 229 has the highest skilled apprentices and journeypersons available. York Electrical Institute will provide opportunities for personal and professional growth through apprenticeship and continuing education classes delivered in-house and through training partners. Courses will be delivered in traditional classroom settings, as well as through blended or on-line formats where appropriate.
